Samsung’s Galaxy Note II phablet has released in India, at a press event in Hyderabad today, just a day after Note II was rolled out in Samsung’s home country South Korea.
The Galaxy Note II, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean(Google’s mobile operating system) OS platform, a quad-core 1.6GHz Cortex A-9 processor with 2GB of RAM.
It has 5.5-inch HD SuperAMOLED screen TouchWiz UI display a little bit bigger than the original Galaxy Note, that had a 5.3-inch touchscreen.
Tab II has rear 8MP with LED flash, front 1.9MP camera.
The rear one can do full HD videos recordings at 1080p/30fps & with the specifications like touch focus, geo-tagging, image stabilisation, face and smile detection.
The phablet available in 16, 32 and 64GB storage capacities, with sustains for microSD card extendable up to 64GB.
Note II connectivity options like 2G/3G/4G/ Wi-Fi/USB2/Bluetooth 4 and NFC.
Also, the company has supplied proprietary connectivity specifications in the device, such as Samsung AllShare Cast and AllShare Play & Control.
It has 3,100mAh battery & can available in two colors 1) Titanium grey & 2) marble white.
The launch of Apple iPhone 5 worldwide, Samsung chops the prices of the top-end products( Galaxy S III, S II and Note) it vends in India.
Early last week, Samsung begun taking pre-orders for the device on its India e-store.
Those customers who pre-ordered the device have to pay full payment for the Galaxy Note II within 15 days of release, otherwise the booking can be cancelled & the sum of 5,000/- rupees cannot be refunded.
Note II can be shipped on 1st -come-1st -serve basis for those who reserved it in advance, depending on the timing for submitting the full payment.
The South Korean manufacturer can ship a free desktop dock with the Galaxy Note II for free to those who pre-order the device early.
Only those who make full payment within the 1st 3 days of the release of the phablet can be obtain the free desktop dock.
