It seems that Google doesn’t want to break the sweets chain, as they continue what have already become a tradition and nickname their Android releases getting the inspiration from tasty desserts. After Eclair, Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich it seems that the next goody from Google will be a Jelly Bean, according to an Asus official, who accidentally mentioned the name in an interview for Tech Radar. The Jelly Bean would be followed by Key Lime Pie, which would probably become more famous under the KLP acronym. Not only that, Google had always released a name of a dessert in alphabetical order, so Key Lime Pie does make some amount of sense. We should also mention that there was a big bowl of jellies at Google’s booth at Mobile World Congress 2012 event in Barcelona, which might be a hint indicating that Android 5.0′s name will have something in common with jellies.
